Premium Chilled Delivery Information

Please read the following information in relation to items shipped using our premium chilled delivery service. 

This delivery service available for:

Our premium chilled delivery service aims to ensure the product arrives with you in the optimal condition having been maintained within the optimal temperature range. In an effort to enhance this service we have devised a "Ship & Return" option. Please note: This is a premium service in terms of packaging, not speed of delivery

How Does it Work?

• You place your order online at WebVet Pharmacy 
• Select our "Premium Chilled Delivery Option" 
• We ship your order in a double walled cardboard carton with polystyrene insulating tiles combined with coolant packs
• Your order is delivered with a free return postage label
• You return the packing and coolant within 7-10 days to receive a partial refund of the shipping cost in the form of account credit to use against your next order. 

It Costs More Though?

You are absolutely right, this method does cost more at the start. However, provided the packaging and cool packs are returned to us using the free return postage label provided you will get a partial refund in the form of credit on your account. Please be assured we are not using increased shipping as a means of making money, there are unfortunately significant costs incurred with this shipping method. 

*For example, the initial postage cost may be 12.99, but if you return the packaging you could get 4.99 credit applied to your account to use against your next order. It is effectively a deposit. 

Is this Eco Friendly?

Yes! This is one of the main reasons why we are offering this service as we are able to reuse these shipping cartons for multiple orders meaning we are reducing wastage yet delivering a first class service. The polystyrene used is also made from recycled material.

How long will it take to arrive?

This service is ideal for when an item must be stored in a fridge. Delivery times may vary as we aim to ensure the product is delivered in optimal condition via a chilled delivery method. We usually aim to ship such items once or twice per week usually on a Monday or Tuesday to avoid any delays caused by weekends or Bank holidays. If you need this item urgently please contact our team for an estimated delivery date.

All premium chilled delivery orders will be shipped using a tracked service, therefore please ensure you follow the tracking data and arrange for someone to be at home to receive the parcel. WebVet Pharmacy cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries or changed delivery dates.

Important Information: 

We cannot guarantee the optimal temperature is maintained during delivery but please be assured that we will make every effort to achieve this and as such this is a risk you must accept when ordering such products e.g. Librela. Due to the necessary delivery precautions we are currently unable to delivery to Northern Ireland. If you wish to purchase for delivery to Northern Ireland please send us an email and we will assess the options available at that time. 

WebVet pharmacy cannot be held responsible if the customer opts to delay the delivery date to a more convenient time as this may jeopardise the chilled delivery. Our delivery provider do not offer cold storage of packages where the delivery has been missed or date changed. It is the customers responsibility to monitor the tracking data provided upon dispatch to ensure the order is received and stored appropriately.
