At WebVet Pharmacy we are climate conscious and have tailored our business processes to reduce the impact on the environment and our planet as a whole. In an effort to reduce our contribution to landfill and improve our sustainability we have implemented the following where ever possible:
No boxes in boxes! Single items are wrapped in recyclable packaging material to save unnecessary use of cardboard boxes. There will be some exceptions to this when multiple items are ordered together and where legal restrictions apply. Our packaging material is made from 100% recycled material and is 100% recyclable itself in most cases.Our gummed paper tape is 100% recyclable and also bio-degradable.We currently use second life boxes from other local businesses when we can.
We aim to implement the suggestions made by Vet Sustain in all of our day to day operations. Some of these choices will inevitably result in higher running costs for us as a business and we endeavour to minimise the costs passed on to the end user as much as we can.
